Tabitha McKechnie is a Scottish-Canadian artist and curator who works in multi-dimensional and multi-media forms. Heavily influenced by performing arts, her work demonstrates an acute focus on movement and emotional expression. Her illustration style is of an accessible, humorous nature, while her other works usually include serious themes and are presented in an abstract form. Tabitha’s work often features use of geometric shape, bold lines, and strong colour.
Her portfolio includes material such as research & essays, sculpture, photography, illustration, and film. Tabitha's curatorial interests include geology and the human response to natural disaster.

Tabitha has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Art & Contextualised Practice, and Masters in Museum Studies with Commendation and is working towards a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geography.
